Judge Awards $10M Settlement for Wrongful Death in 2001
A judge awarded $10 million dollars to the family of Michael Herrin for a wrongful death suit. Michael Herrin was killed in 2001 when his vehicle was struck by a farm truck that failed to stop at an intersection. The settlement is one of the largest for the Southern Illinois area.
